Terms of Service
Effective 29 September 2026
On this page
These terms are an agreement between you and Khalid Aminu Adado ("Routn", "we", "us") for your use of the Routn app and website. By using Routn, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use Routn.
1. Using Routn
You must be at least 13 to use Routn, and old enough to agree to these terms where you live. You're responsible for your account and for keeping your Apple or Google sign-in secure.
2. Your content
Your tasks, routines and other plans belong to you. You give us permission to store, process and sync them only so we can run Routn for you. We don't claim ownership of anything you create.
3. Acceptable use
Don't misuse Routn. That includes trying to access other people's data, disrupting or reverse-engineering the service, using it to break the law, or reselling it without permission.
4. Reminders
Routn works hard to deliver reminders on time, but delivery depends on your device, its settings (such as Focus, silent mode or battery saving), and your operating system.
Don't rely on Routn as your only alert for anything critical, such as medication, safety, or legal and financial deadlines.
5. Connected services
If you connect Google Calendar, Apple Calendar or Reminders, your use of those services is also governed by their own terms. We aren't responsible for changes to or outages of third-party services.
6. Price
Routn is currently free. If we introduce paid features in future, we'll explain the price and terms in the app before you're charged, and purchases will be handled by Apple.
7. Our property
Routn's app, design, name and logo belong to us. These terms don't give you any rights to them beyond using the app as intended.
8. Changes and availability
We're always improving Routn, so features may change, be added or be removed. We may suspend or end access if you breach these terms. You can stop using Routn and delete your account at any time.
9. Disclaimers
Routn is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we make no warranties that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or fit for a particular purpose.
10. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, or for lost data, missed events or lost profits. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or USD 50, whichever is greater. Nothing here limits liability that can't be limited by law.
11. Apple App Store terms
If you downloaded Routn from the App Store: these terms are between you and us, not Apple. Apple has no obligation to provide support or maintenance and isn't responsible for any claims relating to the app. If the app fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple for a refund of the purchase price, if any. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you. You confirm you're not located in a country subject to a U.S. government embargo and aren't on a U.S. restricted-party list.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. If you're a consumer, you keep any protections given to you by the laws of the country where you live.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We'll update the date above and, for significant changes, notify you in the app. Continuing to use Routn after that means you accept the updated terms.
